Unsworth in running for Town job

Unsworth turned down a coaching role at Burnley in the summer when he made the decision to continue playing and eventually signed for Ternent at the Galpharm. He was in the side at the start of the season but hasn't featured in the league since mid-September.

He was doing his coaching badges whilst at Burnley last season and was often seen in the dug out at reserve games, particularly during the second half of the season. Coyle was keen to keep him for a role that would have seen him in charge of the reserves.

He opted to continue playing but he's now being tipped as a strong candidate for the manager's job along with a number of others which has also included Yeovil boss Russell Slade today.
