Two Sky games for Clarets

Last updated : 09 July 2009 By Tony Scholes

The first of these is the Sunderland home game on Saturday 19th September with the kick off time brought forward just over two hours. Sky cameras will be at Turf Moor for the first time since the play off semi-final win against Reading.

Kick off in this game will be 12:45 p.m. and the kick off in our local derby at Blackburn will be just fifteen minutes later. This time the game also moves date to Sunday 18th as we play our local rivals in the top flight for the first time since the 2-0 win at Ewood Park on New Year's Day 1966 when we won 2-0 with goals from Willie Irvine and Gordon Harris.

In total, Sky have announced 31 games in the first set of fixtures, and all Premier League clubs feature with the following number of games:

7: Chelsea
5: Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United
4: Aston Villa
3: Birmingham, Blackburn, Everton, Fulham, Portsmouth, Tottenham
2: Burnley, Hull, Stoke, Sunderland, Wolves
1: Bolton, West Ham, Wigan

We still await news of those games to be covered by ESPN.
