Meanwhile the top three kept winning. Leicester moved within one point of the century and, as it happened, we needed more points than I thought we would need when Derby also won again.
We remain eight points clear of third but are now a massive 15 points ahead of QPR, who Harry says have had a good season to get to fourth place. They, like Derby, are assured a play-off place and it is now, surely, between Reading, Wigan and Brighton for the remaining two places.
Wigan will claim one of them should they beat Birmingham at St. Andrew's tomorrow night in their game in hand. If so that will definitely put us in the spotlight again when we travel to the Madejski this Saturday.
Birmingham, however, will need the points. They've managed to find themselves in the bottom three for the first time this season. It's not the best time to do it but they will be replaced by Doncaster if they can get something in that game against Wigan.
I think we all thought Blackpool were going to be the ones to go down with Barnsley and Yeovil but their surprise win at Wigan has now given them more than a lifeline. They need just a point from their last game, at home to Charlton, to survive, but in truth I don't think they'll need that.
I suspect Doncaster could be the ones to go. They will if they lost at Leicester this Saturday coupled with Birmingham picking something up from their last two games. If they do go it will mean two of the teams promoted from League One last season will be going straight back down whilst the other, Bournemouth, are nicely nestled in the top half of the table.
I wonder what the Championship will be like next season. It seems they all want to be Burnley. Recently Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka admitted that his team could learn so much from us and that's been followed today by Ipswich full back Luke Chambers.
He said of us: "They are a top, top side. I'm pleased for them because they deserve it.
"We have played them twice this season and lost 1-0 both times. The margins have not been very big at all. What they have achieved is what we have got to aim for now."
A couple of midweek games, then the final week of the season. That will sort out the last relegation place and determine which two get those remaining play-off places. Then it's a three week wait to see who wins those play-offs and joins us and Leicester in the Premier League.
