Two fixtures change for television

Last updated : 28 June 2005 By Tony Scholes

The game against Hull was initially scheduled for Saturday 29th October but has now been brought forward to Friday 28th with a 7:45 p.m. kick off as ‘Legend’ Peter Taylor brings the newly promoted side to the Turf for their first visit since the Longside had its last ever day, a game that ended in a 2-1 win for the Clarets.

A month earlier the visit to Wolves has also been moved to the Friday with the same kick off time of 7:45 p.m. This should have been Saturday 1st October but will now be played on 30th September.

Burnley will be looking for their first win in front of the Sky cameras since a 3-0 win over Preston in April 2001.

These are the only Burnley fixtures changed so far but I think we are all expecting to hear that our August Bank Holiday game at Reading will be put back to the Tuesday with an 8:00 p.m. kick off.
