Turn trash into cash

The programme is aimed at raising money for youth development and the amount of money raised by the clubs will be dependent on how many fans pledge to recycle more alongside any increase in the levels of household waste recycling in the area.

You can pledge each day via the Talent for Trash web site and should you be the Burnley fan who pledges most during the twelve week programme you will win a helicopter ride for four people to a home game early next year along with tickets in the 1882 Lounge.

Chairman Barry Kilby said: "This is a great way to encourage supporters to recycle more materials and help our club. Everyone should be doing their bit to help the environment, but if it also helps to raise funds for youth development - such an important arm of this football club - then we should all throw our weight behind it."

The clubs taking part are Accrington Stanley, Brentford, Burnley, Cardiff City, Coventry City, Huddersfield Town, Norwich City, Nottingham Forest, QPR, Southampton, Swansea City, Swindon Town and Wycombe Wanderers.
