Away supporters though will not have to dig deeper into their pockets though, in fact they will not need to dip in quite so far as prices have been reduced by either £2 or £3 from last season. They will not pay the same price as the home fans in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand Upper Tier rather than being charged the same price as the Upper Tier of the Harry Potts Longside.
The charge will be £16 for adults and £8 concessions in the Cricket Field Stand and the first supporters to benefit from the new lower charges will be Brighton on the opening day of the season.
In a strange move Brighton are being asked to sell 1,000 tickets for the game with the remaining seats available by payment at the turnstiles. It apparently is to prevent long delays at the turnstiles although surely all away fans having tickets would make it even easier on the day.
