Turf Moor moving on up in Ground Photos update

Last updated : 20 June 2014 By Tony Scholes

The English grounds are per division, down as far as the Conference National which means the photographs from grounds such as Turf Moor, the King Power at Leicester and QPR's Loftus Road have all been moved into the Premier League whilst those at Craven Cottage, Carrow Road and Cardiff Stadium can now be found in the Championship.

More Football League grounds feature. The 2013/14 season has seen all of Bournemouth, Carlisle, Tranmere and York taking the total to 61 of the current Football League clubs featured.

New photographs have also been added to the grounds at Brighton, Crewe, Huddersfield, Leeds, Watford, Yeovil and at West Brom showing the new Jeff Astle Gate at the Hawthorns.

I'm indebted to Stephen Allen for giving us our first Estonia ground and for new pictures from HJK Helsinki's Sonera Stadium, one of which is shown above, and to Ralph Pomeroy who has supplied more non-league grounds in England and Wales including the one with the longest name which I have left at Llanfair.

Finally, thanks to Simon Doyle who is helping add to the collection of grounds in Ireland.

The GROUND PHOTOS feature can be found in the Clarets Extra2 drop down and now includes over 1,850 photographs from 466 different grounds in 65 different countries.

If you are out and about this summer, maybe on holiday, and you photograph any grounds which could be added at the next update, please EMAIL them to us at Clarets Mad.
