Trippier makes league team again

Trippier has won his place in the team because, as the Football League confirmed, he impressed in both games, and he's named alongside West Ham defender James Tomkins, whose side conceded three goals at home to Birmingham, Cardiff's Ben Turner and Paul Konchesky of Leicester City.

West Ham's fall from the top two places in the table must have impressed those tasked with selecting the team with Tomkins one of three Hammers in the team, the other two being midfielder Kevin Nolan and striker Ricardo Vaz Te.

Derby, with goalkeeper Frank Fielding and midfielder Craig Bryson, are the only other club with more than one player with the six others in the team coming from different clubs.

The full team for the Easter weekend is: Frank Fielding (Derby), Kieran Trippier (Burnley), James Tomkins (West Ham), Ben Turner (Cardiff), Paul Konchesky (Leicester), Chris Burke (Birmingham), Kevin Nolan (West Ham), Craig Bryson (Derby), Jobi McAnuff (Reading), Rickie Lambert (Southampton), Ricardo Vaz Te (West Ham).
