Trippier makes league team

 Trippier won his place for what was considered to be a top performance in the home draw against West Ham and he lines up in a back four that includes players from Bristol City, Reading and Coventry City.

Behind them is goalkeeper Andy Lonergan who kept a clean sheet at Millwall but wins a place in the team despite having conceded seven goals in their other qualifying game against Nottingham Forest last Tuesday.

All the four midfield players selected scored for their respective clubs in the week as did the two forwards with Southampton's Billy Sharp the only player to net twice.

The teams this week is made up of players from eleven different clubs and is: Andy Lonergan (Leeds United), Kieran Trippier (Burnley), Louis Carey (Bristol City), Alex Pearce (Reading), Chris Hussey (Coventry City), David Cotterill (Barnsley), Jeff Hendrick (Derby County), Adlene Guedioura (Nottingham Forest), Ben Marshall (Leicester City), Billy Sharp (Southampton), Troy Deeney (Watford).
