Travel arrangements for the reserves

The police were happy with the operation at Turf Moor five days ago and a day later we had what could only be described as a reserve game being over policed at Leigh Sports Village, all for 362 spectators.

However, concerns for tonight mean that supporters of both clubs will now have to travel by coach to the game from their respective home grounds after consultation with Jeff Brown on behalf of the police and Burnley FC Travel Consultant Mr David McCalamity.

Unfortunately the coach man at Turf Moor has been unable to make any arrangements but thankfully Accrington Clarets have stepped in and will operate the coaches from Turf Moor, departing at 6:00 p.m. They will travel directly to the Clayton End of the Crown Ground.

Coach tickets must be purchased in advance of travel from the Burnley FC ticket office, but should you not be able to get down in time then by all means leave your details on the Clarets Mad message board with a post headed 'FAO Leisure - reserve transport'.

Any monies paid will be refunded if the game, as expected, is called off.
