Top two keep up the battle

Last updated : 26 April 2010 By Tony Scholes

The London club though have certainly edged away from United in terms of goal difference with their third 7 goal haul of the season and it is now 8 better than United's.

Arsenal have a Champions League place but the fourth place is really up for grabs now. Neither Spurs nor Manchester City won, but Villa and Liverpool did to tighten things up.

Down at the bottom, sadly, our fate has been sealed with relegation to the Championship with Portsmouth and, barring miracles of biblical proportions (and Bolton are not involved), Hull.

Below are the weekend stats, the Premier League goalscorers, each club's disciplinary record and the penultimate set of 2009/10 fixtures.
