Tonight's game at Luton

Jarnail Singh - tonight's referee
The referee for tonight's game is Middlesex official Jarnail Singh who will be taking charge of his first ever Burnley game. In his third season on the league list this will be his second visit to Luton, he refereed their 1-0 win over Franchise in a League One fixture two seasons ago.

The home team will of course be without Sol Davis who suffered a stroke on Saturday on the team coach as they made their way to Ipswich ahead of their game there on the Sunday. Clarets Mad would wish at this time to send very best wishes to Sol for a full recovery.

Mike Newell will not be able to call on Paul Underwood tonight, he is a long term injury victim. Lewis Emanuel has gone for a scan on his knee and is rated doubtful, Chris Coyne is recovering from an operation and is not thought to be ready to play. To add to that Markus Heikkinen is doubtful with a chest infection and Russell Perrett isn't quite 100% fit.

For Burnley, if Wayne Thomas is declared fit then it will almost certainly be the team that beat Preston on Friday. If not then expect Stephen Foster to come in as his replacement.

Clarets Mad's normal service will resume with a match report from our game at Luton.
