Time to relive our Carling Cup adventure

The DVD, not surprisingly entitled Capital Punishment, will feature all of the games from that rain soaked night at Gigg Lane in August right through to the drama and heart break of last month when it all became The Impossible Dream. From Martin Paterson's goals in the early rounds, Jay Rod's big moment in the win against Fulham, the two big nights for Brian Jensen, Ade Akinbiyi's goal at Chelsea, Kevin McDonald's goals against Arsenal and then the drama of Spurs.

A top producer is involved and there's a real bonus with Jim Rosenthal presenting it. Rosenthal has been involved with ITV's coverage of the competition this season and when approached he said he really wanted to do this for Burnley as he'd watched the cup run with great interest.

It will also feature interviews with Owen Coyle and the players, and those interviews were filmed at Turf Moor yesterday for the DVD which will be on the shelves in mid-March. And there's a bonus item with footage of the last time we reached the semi-final, with the action from our 4-1 win at Spurs in 1983.

There's a boost too for Clarets Mad with two special autographed copies on their way to us. They will be help raise funds for the Clarets Mad Youth Foundation at the end of season Bad Beat Banquet.

The DVD will sell at £14.95 and the club shop are taking advance orders. Click HERE to order your copy at the online store.
