Kilby - wins refund on ticket
Needless to say Franchise FC and their administrators are passing the buck. "Nothing to do with us," they claim as they point the finger at the ticket agency in Milton Keynes.

But nothing to do with them or not they have now been forced into a climb down and any Burnley supporter who is going will now get £4 refunded on his/her ticket whether an adult ticket or a concession ticket.

Burnley Chairman Barry Kilby made his feelings clear on the Franchising ticketing situation on Thursday, by bringing the matter up at the Football League Division One meeting at Oxford.

Burnley Supporters were being charged £25 for adults and £15 for concessions to watch the game against Franchise at The National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes on Saturday, the most expensive ticket price for travelling supporters in the First Division.

Kilby brought the matter up with Franchise Secretary Steve Rooke and revealed after the meeting: "I spoke to their Secretary Steve Rooke on the matter of tickets for Burnley fans at the game.

"The decision to price tickets at £25 and £15 was taken by the Ticket Agency in Milton Keynes without initial consultation with Franchise FC and its administrators Grant Thornton."

Following this conversation, Franchise have listened to this representation of the fans and, in conjunction with their administrators, have agreed to re-grade the game.

Rrefunds will be available from the Burnley Ticket Office from Tuesday morning (September 30) on production of the used ticket from Saturday's game.

Therefore all supporters who have tickets for the Franchise match are asked to keep their ticket to qualify for this refund.
