Wade Elliott - won the man of the match
In what was one of the best games of football I've seen all season it was these three players who took the top three places in both although not in the same order.

Wade Elliott, who scored our goal in the first half, won the man of the match polling 35.2% of the vote. Behind him came Robbie Blake with 17.0% and my choice Graham Alexander was third with 10.1%.

The player ratings offered a different order. Robbie won this with a rating of 8.60 out of 10 and it was Grezza in second place. His rating was 8.00 whilst Wade's rating of 7.40 gave him third place.

Blake wins five points for the player of the year, there are four points for Elliott and Alexander wins three points.

When Robbie stepped onto the pitch at Deepdale in January as a second half substitute he was in ninth place in the Player of the Year Table and he was 33 points behind leader Martin Paterson. The five points he's won for the game at Ipswich have now taken him nine points clear at the top of the table. The latest points have taken Elliott into joint sixth place whilst Alexander is ninth.

Voting us currently underway for our game at Plymouth and will run until the end of tomorrow. We will then take the opportunity to catch up with the Goal of the Month with February starting on Wednesday.
