Alan Mahon - moves into joint second place
Mahon, in top form in the midfield, was the clear winning in our man of the match poll, claiming 36.9% of the vote to win the three points. Goalscorer and central defender David Unsworth was second with 20.6% and the two points whilst his partner at the back Clarke Carlisle took the final point with 9.2% of the vote.

The same three players took the points in the message board's ratings thread but this time it was Unsworth who won it with an average rating of 8.43 out of 10. Mahon this time was in second place, just behind with an average of 8.39 whilst an average of 8.17 gave Carlisle third place. They were the only three players to average more than eight.

These three players are now in the top four of our Player of the Year table with Carlisle still in front and now having edged five points clear.

The voting will start later this evening for the man of the match from our game this afternoon against Wolves.
