Three get call ups

Jones missed out last time because of injury but he returns to the squad alongside his two Burnley team mates, both of whom are now establishing themselves in the starting line up.

It is European qualifiers again and the Irish have two games coming up. The first of them a week on Saturday is an away game against Liechtenstein and then four days later they will play Sweden at Windsor Park, Belfast.

We could also soon have players in the Republic of Ireland squads. Steve Staunton has asked Steve Cotterill about Chris McCann and James O'Connor, and McCann was close to a call up to the Under-21s recently but was needed by the Clarets.

There could also be a call up for Joey Gudjonsson, Iceland have just one qualifier and that's on Wednesday 28th March, an away game against Spain.
