Wayne Thomas - starts for the reserves against Rochdale
Thomas has been in the first team squad for the last five games and started in the defeat at Norwich just a week ago tonight. He played the first half of that game, even more in the next game against Sheffield Wednesday but this is expected to be his first ninety minutes since the day he got injured on August Bank Holiday at Reading.

Another of Steve Cotterill’s summer signings, Danny Karbassiyoon will also play. The American has struggled to make an impact since returning from injury and first team wise has been restricted to occasional brief substitute appearances, the latest coming in the Sheffield Wednesday defeat when he played the last ten minutes.

They will be joined by loan goalkeeper Lee Grant and defender Duane Courtney whilst none of the rest of the team have tasted first team action other than Marc Pugh who has added Conference experience with Kidderminster since he last pulled on a Claret & Blue shirt.

It is our first reserve game since the end of November and the full line up is: Lee Grant, Rob Henry, Wayne Thomas, Duane Courtney, Martin Reilly, Ali Akbar, Adam Kay, Nicky Platt, Danny Karbassiyoon, Marc Pugh, Cayne Hanley. Subs: Jack Overson, Rob Turner, Jay Rodriguez, Paul Casey, Dale Underwood.

The game kicks off at 7:00 and admission is £2.50 for all Burnley fans.
