Thistle keen on MacDonald

Any such move for Jay is surely gone now with him having broken into the first team match day squad. He was named on the bench last week at Swansea and has come on in each of the two home games against Fulham on Tuesday and Preston yesterday.

MacDonald though has been in the reserves and of course played for the Scottish Under-19s recently in Holland, and if Thistle boss Ian McCall gets his wish he could be getting some league action north of the border.

He's keen to take Alex to Glasgow on loan, but with the transfer window closed any such move would have to wait until January. Should it happen it would be a loan from January until the end of the season.
