There's nothing going wrong for David Miller

Just ten days ago Stalybridge Celtic sacked manager Paul Futcher as they continued to struggle against relegation from the Nationwide Conference and turned to Leigh RMI assistant boss and former Claret David Miller to replace him.

After seven successive defeats it was going to be no easy task to turn things round but what a start he has made. His first match in charge was a home game against Forest Green and that was won. They followed that up with the result of the day last Saturday with a 2-0 win at Yeovil before winning a third on Easter Monday at home to Doncaster Rovers.

Things can't get better for David can they? Oh yes they can. He works at James Hargreaves Plumbers Merchants and is part of a syndicate that had a massive win last week, in fact some £1.3 million. The sixteen of them have all picked up over £84,000 each and incredibly it was just their third week on the lottery.

Looking at the win against Doncaster it looked as though David had even got one over on his dad. There was a B Miller in the Doncaster side.
