The Championship Stats - 2nd May

Last updated : 04 May 2009 By Tony Scholes
Birmingham's win at Reading ensured they finished second leaving Reading and Sheffield United in the play offs. Our win confirmed our place but Cardiff's loss at Sheffield Wednesday allowed Preston to sneak in.

Down at the bottom Delia couldn't cook anything up worth eating as she watched Norwich get hammered by bottom club Charlton and follow them into League One football. They would have still gone down had they won with Barnsley picking up all three points at Plymouth.

Well done Wolves on winning the league, and well done Sylvan Ebanks-Blake who is by far away the highest scorer in the division.

The final Championship stats are below along with the goalscorers, each club's disciplinary record and average attendances, and the play off dates.
