Ternent goes at Huddersfield

There have been murmurings for a while. Hopes were high at the Galpharm this season but the results have not been as expected, particularly at home, and the late winner against Crewe on Saturday gave them only their second home win of the season.

Huddersfield are currently in 17th place in the table and in a statement today they revealed that Stan has left by mutual consent along with former Huddersfield favourite Ronnie Jepson and Mick Docherty.

Our former Chief Executive Andrew Watson was instrumental in Ternent joining Huddersfield. He held the position of vice-chairman but they have also taken the decision to end his association with his home town club.

Ternent succeeded Andy Ritchie at Huddersfield last April but had a watching brief as they won their last four games of the season. However, things have not gone to plan and Huddersfield have become the thirteenth club this season to make a change.
