Gareth Taylor wins a header in tonight's international
The game was played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and Gareth was named as one of the Welsh subs. He was called up earlier in the season for two games and made the bench for one of them but wasn't called upon.

The Welsh earned a very creditable 0-0 draw this evening and with 73 minutes gone Taylor came on as a replacement for Celtic's John Hartson. It was his eighth cap although five of these have been as a substitute. He is still to score his first goal for his adopted country, Gareth was born in England in Weston-Super-Mare.

He became the first Claret to win full international honours since Coxy who played some games for the Trinidad mob during last year.
