Taylor no to Scunthorpe

Taylor has been used mainly as a substitute by Doncaster recently and hasn't started a game since early December. With new players coming in at the Keepmoat he could have even less opportunities of a first team recall.

Manager Sean O'Driscoll said: "Nigel Adkins spoke to me about him and I spoke to Gareth and at this particular time Gareth wants to stay.

"We would have been okay with Gareth going there for a month, with Steve Brooker and Dean Shiels coming in we could do that. But it's Gareth's prerogative and that's not a problem. That might change as things progress but at this minute in time he is happy where he is."
