Newly-promoted Burnley and their fierce north eastern rivals  Middlesbrough, are considering bids of around £5m for the former England Under-19 international.

The highly rated Taylor is effectively available for a transfer out of Leeds due to a lack of contract extension talks with the Elland Road outfit.

The 22 year old can play in either a traditional wing back role or alternatively as a marauding left midfielder. Contracted to Leeds in 2011 he has made 64 appearances for the Tykes scoring on 3 occasions.

Taylor is an under-19 England international, born in the grand old city of York and has seen extensive experience on loan at York, Bradford, Inverness and Fleetwood.

Sounds like an awful lot of money to me for a relatively inexperienced Championship player? (TEC).
