Former Burnley striker Gareth Taylor became the fourth ex-Claret to leave his club in three days when he was released by Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll today.

This season he started eleven games and made another seven appearances for the bench whilst also enjoying a month's loan at Carlisle for whom he made five appearances, scoring just the one goal on his debut at another of his former clubs Crewe Alexandra.
Now 36, it was six years ago this week since he last played for the Clarets in the last match of the 2002/03 season.
