This will be a first season in the IFA (Internet Football Association) for the team that was created at Eli's (our very own message board) towards the end of 2007 when a team was selected for a friendly against Preston.
It has been something of a scramble to get this game confirmed after Huddersfield, originally due to play against the team in Burnley, had to pull out.
There was no response from Ipswich and so it is to Chester they go for the first game of the season. The lads will kick off at 9:30 a.m. which will give them ample time to get back to Burnley for the Championship game at the Turf.
