Sunny deal looking very unlikely

It was just last Tuesday that the Clarets were linked with the 20-year-old Nigerian but even then there was real competition for Betis who, like the Clarets, wanted to take the player on loan.

Sunday's agent Rodrigo Fernández has confirmed that the deal was struck ten days ago and that the player will have his medical tomorrow and, if all goes well, will move on a season long loan. He did admit there had been interest from Burnley but confirmed that this was after the Betis deal was agreed.
