David May - lines up for the reserves
As predicted Mark McGregor gets another run out and the good news for Burnley fans is that he will partner David May who is playing his first game since coming off at Watford with a hamstring injury.

Not only that Lee Roche but Oldham’s 19 year old Australian Dave Carney plays on trial whilst Glen Little gets a game after recovering from flu.

With the previously strong Sheffield United side named it is good news to hear that we have a stronger side out and I’m sure everyone in particular will be hoping that David May comes through alright and will be available for the first team at Derby on Saturday.

Our team this afternoon is:

Michael Hale, Lee Roche, Mark McGregor, David May, Danny Pitham, Marc Pugh, Joel Pilkington, Dave Carney, Tom Ince, Glen Little, Matt O’Neill. Subs: Alex Taylor, Ross Preston, Ryan Townsend, Rhys Carpenter, Darrel Avery.
