Dean Stott - signed for Preston along with Rob Turner
Both of them have been with the Clarets for a number of years in the Centre of Excellence and then during the last two seasons have been with the youth team for their two year apprenticeships.

Neither were taken on by the club, just Adam Kay and Alex MacDonald have been offered contracts, and Preston have stepped in quickly to sign them both on professional deals as part of a new development squad they are setting up.

They are both known to the Preston staff who are involved such as Dean Ramsdale who headed our community programme and Jamie Hoyland who was coaching with our Centre of Excellence before they both moved to Deepdale almost two years ago.

The pair have been spectators at the youth and reserve games this week as the season has come to a close, but once pre-season gets underway both will be with their new clubs.
