Steve in running after Clarets have a fantastic month

A league table for the month shows us in fourth place, behind both Ipswich and Sunderland on goal difference and a point behind Crewe who picked up most points albeit from one extra game.

LBJ, Mick McCarthy and Dario G are therefore the other three contenders, the next best side picked up just eight points and all will be revealed tomorrow.

Who knows who will win it, all four have a good claim on it and it is just a matter of wait and see.

Ipswich were the only side to beat the Clarets and apart from that somewhat unfortunate defeat we picked up maximum points from home games against Forest and Millwall and visits to Leeds and Brighton.

That’s in contrast to October when only pointless Rotherham kept us off the bottom for the month, a month when we won only three points from three draws.

Let’s hope we have something to celebrate tomorrow with Steve winning his first award since taking over as Burnley manager.
