Chairman Barry Kilby and Steve have been holding talks during this week and this morning the manager made it clear that he would be remaining as manager of Burnley Football Club.

“However, a lot has been built here in the last eighteen months and we are continuing to build for the future at Burnley Football Club. I have a great relationship with the Chairman and supporters of our football club and I would like to thank all of those people who have sent me cards and letters this week, I have been overwhelmed.”
That’s good news for the club, we seem to have been in a state of some real uncertainty over the last few days, we can now hopefully get back to being a normal settled club again and get on with winning football matches.
