Crocker does claim though to have sought Stan after the game to discuss our start to the season and describes him as an unpredictable but likeable character.
"I asked Stan about his team’s start to the season, which had obviously been poor", said Crocker realising that some managers will say their teams have played well and got no luck.
Not Stan, he was more honest than that and Crocker said, "Stan though made no excuses whatsoever, although his actual response is not printable! Suffice to say he did not think they had played well so far!"
From what we can gather the interview was not filmed so we are not expecting to find out exactly what Stan said but Crocker and his team will be at the Turf next week for the home game against Millwall when hopefully Stan will be able to tell him how well we are playing.
