Stan gets done by Knight and receives touchline ban

Knight - this offensive man has now got Stan banned from the touchline
Stan will not be allowed into the dug out or technical area for either the home game against Walsall on 12th October or the away game against Leicester at the Walkers Stadium a week later.

His ban starts on Friday 11th October and he has been found guilty by the FA of improper conduct and foul and abusive language. It has to be said that Stan can hardly complain at such a ban if indeed his behaviour was as was reported.

That is until the full circumstances are known. The apparent offence took part last Easter when the Clarets were beaten 3-2 by Wolves in a vital First Division game as both clubs were pushing for promotion and the play offs.

The game was reduced to pure farce by one person and one person only, someone who should never be allowed near a football ground. Yes that's right Orpington referee Barry Knight who gives the impression that he goes out of his way to court controversy.

For a time I thought Knight was just a downright bad and incompetent referee but his performances are an insult to incompetent referees. He influenced that Wolves game with the most horrendous of decisions, the worst of which were the disallowing of a Burnley goal with the score at 0-0 and then the sending off of Alan Moore.

Stan - will have to find a seat in the stand for two games
He became our Tw*t of the Week after that game and went on to win our first ever Tw*t of the Season award. Not as though this would bother this arrogant offensive man.

Now Stan will be in the stand for two games because he did nothing more or nothing less than anyone with any feeling for the game. Once again the FA have got it wrong, they should be handing out the discipline to Barry Knight and getting him out of the game once and for all.

Stan will certainly be getting support from managers all over the country for this and North West based managers Sam Allardyce and David Moyes are certain to be amongst the first to offer it having both been done by Knight themselves.

But for two games the touchline goings on will be done without Stan. As much as I cannot agree with him behaving in an improper manner or using foul and abusive language I would like to thank him for doing and saying just what ever Clarets fan wanted to do that afternoon.
