The last time Burnley faced Spurs in the FA Cup tie was in the fourth round of the competition in the 1965/66 season. We'd beaten Bournemouth in the 3rd round 7-0 in a Turf Moor replay but were beaten 4-3 at White Hart Lane despite a Willie Irvine hat trick, two of those goals coming in the opening five minutes.
It's the first time we've ever been drawn at home against them but we did play them at Turf Moor in a 1908/09 3rd round replay, winning 3-1 with goals from Abbott, Smith and Ogden.
It's also the first time we've had a home draw since 2011 when we beat Port Vale and then Burton at Turf Moor before going out at West Ham in the fifth round. Since, we've lost three 3rd round ties on the road at Norwich, Barnsley and Southampton.
This season's tie will be played between 3rd and 6th January and it is one of four all Premier League ties.
