Spicer's day at Cardiff

Unlike the last couple of games, there has been a big difference between the man of the match voting and the player ratings, but Spicer has come out on top in both of them.

He took the three points in the player ratings on the message board with an average of 7.36 out of 10. Chris McCann, on as a second half substitute, was second with an average of 7.00 and that won him two points. Wade Elliott, another of the half time subs, and captain Steven Caldwell took a point each with an average of 6.73.

In the man of the match poll things were somewhat different although again Spicer won it by claiming 30.1% of the vote, but the other points scorers in the ratings struggled. McCann had just 2.3% of the vote whilst Caldwell and Elliott occupied the bottom two places.

The third of our half time subs, and scorer of our goal, Ade Akinbiyi was second with 21.5% of the vote and claimed the two points whilst the last point went to Alan Mahon. He was one of the three players substituted at half time but won 9.4% of the vote.

We're now voting for the September goal of the month. Ade won the August award with the third in the Carling Cup win over Oldham. There are nine to choose from and the voting will continue until the end of Friday.
