Development Squad player Renny Smith has joined Swedish outfit GAIS on a season-long loan, subject to international clearance.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea youngster has impressed GAIS manager Benjamin Westman following a two-week trial.
Renny will now be joining one of Sweden's oldest football clubs nicknamed the "Gardakvarnen" and the "Makrillarna".
Smith will imminently depart Turf Moor and subject to international clearance will join the Swedish Superettan league side, Gothenburg Athletic and Sports Association (GAIS).
19 year old Smith joined the Clarets on a three-year contract last summer and will remain with the green and whites of Gotenburg until November, 2016.
