Sky Blues in Thomas link

The former captain has one year left at Burnley having signed a three year deal in the summer of 2005 and had there been a bid for him earlier last season then I'm sure the Burnley fans would have paid his bus fare to Coventry.

His fortunes have taken a turn for the better more recently, and alongside Steven Caldwell he's turned in some good performances in the centre of defence and certainly gone a long way to winning the fans over following that run of red cards.

The Coventry press are suggesting that Iain Dowie is considering a £200,000 offer for him, but with Brendan Flood having said we are no longer under pressure to sell it is hardly likely that we would accept that sort of fee for a player that the manager definitely rates very highly.

Coventry lost the battle to get Caldwell when he elected to sign for us last January, and I suspect this is another one they are going to lose, particularly if they think they are going to get him for £200,000.
