Steven Fletcher was in the Scotland side that drew 1-1 against the Republic of Ireland. It was a 21st cap for the striker who had netted a hat trick in his last international against Gibraltar.

Danny Lafferty didn't make the match day squad for Northern Ireland but both Chris Baird and Kyle Lafferty played in their 0-0 home draw against Romania.

Gary Cahill took the total for four, playing in England's 3-2 win in Slovenia and four became five when Gabor Kiraly was back in Hungary's team for their 1-0 win against Finland in Helsinki. This latest appearance has taken his total appearances for his country to 95.

Finally, last night, Canada qualified for the next round in their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 6-0 aggregate win against Dominica. David Edgar was an unused sub in the 2-0 away win in the first leg but was back in the side yesterday in Toronto as the Canadians moved on with a 4-0 victory.

Dane Richards hasn't featured for Jamaica in their opening two games in the Caribbean Cup whilst Diego Penny was an unused substitute in Peru's 2-1 defeat against Brazil in their first Copa America game.

The INTERNATIONALS feature has been updated to include these appearances.
