There are many reasons for it, the all seater stadium doesn’t help, neither do the new stands at Turf Moor whilst the goal music, flag waving idea seems to have replaced the real thing that used to be brilliant at our home games.
It has prompted a strong discussion over the last week on this site’s message board with suggestions of creating a designated singing area inside the ground from next season, getting all the people together as used to be the case in the days of the Longside and before that the Cricket Field End.
Needless to say the debate has taken us into every stand, excluding the away end which we know will not be returned to
We haven’t asked for your suggestions on where it should be, just whether you would support it to try and improve our ground and to try and get it back somewhat closer to how it used to be.
