It is the second time in just over a year that Frank has been signed by Lincoln boss Peter Jackson. He was in charge at Huddersfield when Frank first moved there on loan in February 2007 and he made the move a permanent one last summer when new boss Andy Ritchie offered him a contract.

However, he found himself surplus to requirements at the end of last season and now he's decided to rejoin Jackson again at Lincoln. Jackson said of the signing: "I'm absolutely delighted to have signed him. I've worked with Frank Sinclair before everyone knows about him.

"He has the biggest car in the car park and has a private registration but he's a daddy. He will be good for me on and off the field, the lads will love him and the supporters will love him. We needed his experience in the club and on the pitch. He's a terrific signing."
