The seven are made up with two full internationals, two playing at under-21 level, two at under-19 and one making an international bow at under-17 level. And for good measure another of our young players received a call up to a training camp.
The two full internationals were Sam Vokes and Cameron Howieson. Vokes was in the Wales team that beat Iceland 3-1 in Cardiff, and he scored the second goal, heading home from close range after a Gareth Bale effort had been cleared on the line.

Under-19 debut for Conor Mitchell |
Cameron Howieson was a substitute for New Zealand in their friendly in Tokyo against Japan, and I bet he was pleased not to be on the pitch in the opening period of the game as Japan went 4-0 up within the first 17 minutes.
He came on for Storm Roux on 69 minutes. By that time Leicester's Chris Wood had pulled a goal back and the same player netted again ten minutes from the end with the game ending at 4-2.
For Vokes it was a 31st cap for Wales whilst Howieson collected his seventh full cap for the New Zealand All Whites.
One other Burnley player was on full international duty this week but couldn't add to his caps. Danny Lafferty was on the bench for Northern Ireland's 0-0 draw in Nicosia against Cyprus but wasn't called on.
The Internationals section, which features all full caps, has been updated for both Vokes and Howieson and also former Clarets Phil Bardsley, Steven Fletcher, Martin Paterson, Kyle Lafferty and Alex Kačaniklić who all won caps this week.
At under-21 level Danny Ings had to wait until the 67th minute to win his third England cap at this level after Norwich's Nathan Redmond had scored the only goal of the game just over ten minutes earlier. Ings came on for West Brom's Saido Berahino.
At the same time Luke Conlan was playing the full ninety minutes for Northern Ireland in their UEFA under-21 qualifier in Lurgan. They fell behind just before the hour with Italy completing a 2-0 win in the 89th minute of the game.
Remaining with Northern Ireland; their under-19s played two friendlies against Switzerland. They were beaten 3-0 on Tuesday but drew the second game yesterday 2-2. Both Conor Mitchell and Cameron Dummigan played in both games with Dummigan turning in a man of the match performance in the first of the two games at the Oval, home of Glentoran. For Mitchell, these were his first appearances for his country at this level.
The Republic of Ireland's under-17 team have also played two friendly games this week, these coming against Austria. They won the first one on Tuesday 2-1 at Dalymount Park, home of Bohemian and yesterday drew 1-1 at Malahide United's Gannon Park.
Khius Metz, an under-16 at Burnley, making his international bow, featured in both games. He came on as a 75th minute substitute in the first but started the second and played the entire first half before they made wholesale changes.
Finally, there was another Scotland call for our newest full time professional Jamie Frost. The 17-year-old forward was called up to a training camp for the Scotland under-18s by coach Ricky Sbragia, the former Sunderland manager. He'll join up with them for two days next Wednesday in Cumbernauld.
