Second month ends abruptly for Brad

Maylett's loan was extended only three days ago and he was all set to stay and help Flynny in trying to keep Swansea in the Football League but this morning with more injuries to worry about he has been brought back on an instant recall.

So he will now go straight into our squad for tomorrow's game against Portsmouth and could replace Dimitri Papadopoulos on the right hand side after the Greek international had a poor game on Saturday.

Swansea are reeling at the news and a spokesman for the club has just told Clarets Mad that they had been both relieved and delighted with the news that he was staying only to lose him within days.

Maylett, as we said earlier, played six games for the Swans and will now hope to add to his league appearances for the Clarets. Despite having appeared in 43 league games for us since making his debut in the 1998/99 season all but two have been as a substitute and he is still to play a full 90 minutes.
