Scott is Bournemouth referee

It will be Scott's second Burnley game of the season. He refereed out game at Ipswich back in October and, unlike him, didn't use his cards at all.

I say unlike him because he's a referee who has built up a reputation for over use of his card and in three Burnley games previously he had yellow carded 17 players and sent off Coventry's Gael Bigirimana.

Our game this season is one of two that's been card free with this referee; the other was his most recent game, Nottingham Forest's 3-1 home win against Yeovil last Sunday.

But in the other 19 games he's taken charge of this season he's shown 71 yellow cards and has also sent off ten players including Callum McManaman, Pavel Pogrebnyak and Leo Ulloa in Championship games.

Of those yellow cards, 34 have gone to home team players and 37 to away team players while five home and five away players make up the ten sent off.

Despite his over eagerness to show cards he hasn't actually done that badly when he's refereed us in previous games, all of which have been away from home. Hopefully he'll give the game the go ahead tomorrow and have another decent game.

The assistant referees are Mark Derrien (Dorset) and Elliott Kaye (Essex). The fourth official is John Flynn (Wiltshire).
