Sir Titus Salt
Our youth team were all set to play their second game of in the Merit League away to Halifax Town but the game was postponed today because of the poor weather in the Halifax area.

The game would have gone ahead at Hipperholme and Lightcliffe School. The school is in a semi-rural site in the grounds of Crow Nest, the demolished home of the 19th century wool baron Sit Titus Salt.

The school received major lottery funding to create a Community Sports Centre which is used by many local organisations including Halifax Town Football Club who play their youth team games there.

There is no new date as yet for the Clarets school trip.
