George Burley brings Southampton to Burnley for a televised game

This time we've not been moved to Friday, nor Sunday or Monday, we've just had the kick off put back over two hours and will kick off at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday 27^th October.

The Clarets provided Sky viewers with plenty of entertainment last season, with no fewer than twenty goals scored in four games, and they have selected a game which was also a five goal game last season, Southampton on that occasion running out 3-2 winners.

It's perhaps not the best fixture for us to have moved - it now leaves us with only one Saturday afternoon home game throughout the months of October and November. It is though no surprise, this particular weekend has seen us on television in the two previous seasons. On Friday 28^th October we defeated Hull 1-0 at Turf Moor, whilst last season on Friday 27^th Preston were beaten 3-2 by us, also at the Turf.

There are more fixtures to come from Sky this week, don't be surprised to see another Burnley game added, more likely to be an away game.
