Robson moves - to Celtic

We looked to be out of the running last week when our bid of £800,000 was rejected by Dundee United although Forest are believed to have gone up as far as £1 million, the fee that Celtic finally got him for.

But Robson preferred to stay in Scotland and the impression throughout all this is that if Celtic did finally make an offer then that's where he would go. That's exactly what happened today, Celtic had an offer accepted by Dundee United and the former Rangers, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Forfar midfielder signed a three and a half year deal for Celtic this evening.

With the Clarets having brought in Mark Randall today we had clearly dropped out of the running for Robson and whoever the targets may have been in the last couple of days he was definitely not one of them.
