Robbie's pulling clear

Robbie Blake
It was Graham Alexander, Robbie Blake and Wade Elliott at Ipswich. Again Blake and Elliott are in the top three, this time joined by central defender Clarke Carlisle.

Robbie got an assist on the first goal, forced the save of the match out of Romain Larrieu from a free kick and then scored the winner with a half volley. That was enough to earn him top billing for the man of the match with 50.0% of the vote.

Carlisle, who has been in sparking form at the back since returning to the side at Blackpool, came second with 29.2% whilst Elliott sneaked into third place with just 5.1% of the vote.

In the player ratings the top two were reversed. Carlisle, who added to his performance with an incredible clearance with the score at 1-1, was top with a rating of 8.56 out of 10 and that was some distance ahead of Blake who was second. Blake's rating was 7.89 whilst again Elliott came third with a rating of 7.44 out of 10.

Both Blake and Carlisle score five points towards the Player of the Year with two points to Elliott. It has certainly opened things up for Robbie who has now moved fourteen points clear at the top of the table. Carlisle remains ninth but the two points for Elliott have moved him above both Chris McCann and Steven Caldwell into fifth place.

The voting is currently for the February Goal of the Month. This runs until the end of Sunday and will immediately be followed by the March Goal of the Month Vote.
