Robbie's goal helps him to maximum points

Robbie Blake
Blake was in inspirational form during the time the Clarets were on top in the game. He scored a stunning equaliser for us in the first half and then crossed the ball that eventually dropped for Alan Mahon to score the winner.

His performance has won him both the man of the match vote and the top score in the player ratings, although he had to share top billing with Clarke Carlisle in the ratings.

He was a comfortable winner in the man of the match vote, polling 40.7% of that vote, whilst Michael Duff came second with 14.6%. Chris Eagles, who had linked with Blake brilliantly in the early stages of the second half before being stretchered off, came third with 9.4% of the vote.

The player ratings were close with both central defenders in the top three. Blake and Carlisle were winners with ratings of 8.30 whilst Duff was not far behind them with a rating of 8.20 out of 10.

That gives Blake six points, Carlisle & Duff both three points with Eagles claiming one point. Those points take Blake into joint fifth place with Steven Caldwell in what is already looking a very keenly contested Player of the Season contest.
