Robbie Blake is very much bang in form right now and I'm sure it can come as no surprise to learn that he's been nominated for the Championship Player of the Month.

He's turned in some outstanding performances during a month that has seen us win thirteen points from a possible fifteen and he's one of four players to receive nominations for the award sponsored by Powerade.

It's good to see they've got the right player this time. Earlier in the season Joey Gudjonsson was nominated despite having been named substitute in most of the games. His goal against Preston had helped him to the nomination.

This time Robbie is up against Sammy Clingan from Norwich, Sheffield United's David Cotterill and Michael Kightly who has been a major influence in Wolves' return to form.

Hopefully this time the award will come our way and it will be announced next Monday on Sky's Big League Weekend programme.
